Climbing Solutions is a young, innovative company focused on industrial and rescue work. We operate in challenging and hard-to-reach locations, such as heights and confined spaces, using rope techniques. You can expect honest and genuinely safe work from us, as we adhere to the latest safety standards. The locations where we carry out daily risky operations are numerous.

We are committed to assisting, brainstorming, and guiding you in all situations. In case of accidents, you can trust us to execute a comprehensive plan under pressure and handle victim transportation and care efficiently.

SCENARIO: THE DANGER OF CONFINED SPACES

Consider the following scenario: Jan (53), an inspector from your company, enters a confined space, a seemingly harmless location with no hazardous substances, an inspector with 20 years of experience, and a colleague acting as a standby outside. It appears to be a routine situation, happening once every month.

Today, things go differently. Jan woke up with some pressure on his chest, a situation he considered unimportant. While in the space, Jan suddenly feels even worse than in the morning. He calls out to his colleague, stating he wants to exit and have a coffee break. Before he can leave the space on his own, Jan collapses, unconscious.

Now what? The colleague raises the alarm, and the local first aiders rush to the scene. It becomes clear that they cannot manually extract Jan from the confined space. The ambulance and fire department is called, but it might take 7 to 20 minutes to arrive, depending on the location.

The first aid team realizes that specialized teams are needed, because accessing certain confined spaces is challenging for them. This could result in significant delays in receiving medical assistance, leaving Jan fighting for his life with low chances of survival.

Confined spaces: the use of a rescue team

To ensure a professional and responsible approach, we advise taking confined spaces and high locations very seriously. Having a rescue team on-site is the safest and most reassuring way to execute tasks in such environments.
