When the easy way is not an option

Climbing Solutions is a young, innovative company, focused on industrial and rescue work. We operate in hard-to-reach locations (think heights and confined spaces) using rope techniques. You can expect honest and genuinely safe work from us. We are efficient and carry out our work according to the latest safety standards.

CHALLENGES IN HARD-TO-REACH LOCATIONS

The challenge often lies not in the work itself but in accessing the location. There may be obstacles in the way, water under the object, an installation that cannot be easily shut down, or simply heights and depths.

We can confidently say that we can practically access anywhere with our climbing techniques. This very challenge is the reason why we chose this line of work and enjoy it so much.

OUR WORKMETHOD

1: WE VISIT AND DO THE PROJECT ASSESSMENT

Based on online or telephone contact, we can usually make a good initial assessment. However, a specialist will always visit to take the necessary measurements. This assessment is primarily focused on your requirements.

We also consider material and personnel requirements, duration, costs and start date. Before we begin, we will also assess the risks and control measures by conducting an on-site risk assessment and evaluation (RI&E) in collaboration with you.

2: WE PROVIDE THE NECESSARY SAFETY DOCUMENTS AND WORK PLAN

After discussing the plans and conducting the risk assessment on-site, we document all the details, ensuring that all parties are well-informed about the work process. We create a work plan that includes:

  • Risk assessment and evaluation (RI&E)
  • Work description
  • Work method
  • Planning
  • Toolbox meeting
  • Rescue plan
  • Last Minute Risk Analysis (LMRA)
  • Daily report / timesheet
  • Location contact information

3: WE ENSURE FAST, SAFE, AND HIGH-QUALITY WORK

On the scheduled date, we arrive on-site with the required personnel and equipment.

We follow the Irata work methodology, which involves at least 2 people, with one of them being a level-3 supervisor. We finalize the last details with the on-site contact person and obtain any necessary work permits and LOTOTO procedures. Our supervisor holds a toolbox meeting with all involved parties. Using climbing techniques, we reach the location and efficiently complete the job according to your requirements, leaving the site as if we were never there.

WHAT IS ROPE ACCESS?

Rope access is a specialized technique used by well-trained individuals to perform work in very inaccessible locations using climbing techniques. Our specialists follow the Irata work methodology, originally developed in England, rooted in the Berichtprinciples of climbing sports. The core principles of Irata include two-point control, two anchor points at all times, no uncontrolled maneuvers or pendulums, and a supervision system within the team. Additionally, they adhere to the labor law of the respective country.
